On the 6th and the 7th of June, SoundTrack_Cologne offers two free workshops for cultural organizers and employees in the cultural sector. The workshops are part of the Erasmus+ funded project RED: Re-Educating Digitisation focusing on training in digital tools and audience survey strategies.
Each of the activities is designed as a four-hour crash course. The workshops will be held in English.
Marketing and analytics for cultural enterprises:

- Data analytics – Google analytics (key metrics · statistic tools)
- Google Ads & Facebook Pixel (+ others)
- Audiences and Re-marketing (email marketing)
- SEO and content Marketing · Research and optimisation
- User behaviour and conversions
Erman Küplü, co-founder of Solverhood (package solutions to strengthen the digital presence of companies) and of Analyzify (data analytics for Shopify merchants), will teach the workshop on Digital Marketing. Küplu has more than 15 years of experience developing marketing strategies for websites and social networks.

Audience development with the help of visitor and non-visitor surveys:

Crash Course:
- Visitor surveys versus non-visitor surveys
- Practical development of a questionnaire
- Formulation of research questions
- Strategies for target group identification and positioning
- Data analysis – derivation of insights for the further development of events
- Pricing and communications planning
The lecturer is Prof. Dr Tibor Kliment, who has conducted, among others, visitor surveys on Cologne theatres, Museum Folkwang Essen, and Museum Ludwig, as well as visitor studies on Berlin museums, the independent theater scene in Cologne and the literary scene in Cologne.
